Someone just asked me today for immediately help with money for solving an emergency medical situation, but I've politely excused myself pretending that i don't have any money.
Fortunately for her ... i've come up with a solution that could help her solve the problem ... but she totally disliked my refuse.
You see ... i simple hate to give money to people ... especially to close friends and then to beg them to receive my cash bag.
I find it .... ridiculous.
On the other hand ... i don't really understand why i need to deal with this negativity for allowing myself to ... refuse her.
It's a fundamental right.
And ... maybe ... i could really not help her.
Unfortunately ... i trend to believe that she just wanted as me to show her compassion ... and pay me back the money .... maybe in one of my next lives.
So ... i've just smiled ... seeing that she did not even listened to me ... with the solution for solving her problem.
Her final reaction .... made it so clear to me that i have the right to not be ... an idiot.
Or ... maybe better said ... the right to refuse the role of the idiot.
Since then ... she's totally ignoring me ... but it's ok.
I know ... i will survive and i'll be able to deal with her ignorance towards me.
I'll ... digest it.
Meanwhile ... each time i see her ... i just say "Hello" ... and smile.
I know we are both young and we have enough time ... so that she can forgive me cause i've refused to play the role of an idiot.
